The Arts Center offers a variety of hands-on creative art classes and workshops for Teens age 13+. Some Adult classes and workshops are available for serious Teens age 16+.
The Arts Center offers music lessons in guitar, violin, viola, cello and bass. Private music lessons are available for adults & children and group music lessons are offered to children.

Guitar for Children - Tico Manley A great way to try the guitar, no musical experience necessary. Learn to read music, play by ear and music theory. This fun introductory course will get you playing in no time. A limited number of guitars are available for use (during class only) please call ahead to reserve a guitar 864-784-9232. | Contemporary Painting
- Jen Hutchinson Students will explore various ways of painting used by contemporary artists such as Chuck Close, Andy Warhol and Frank Stella. Some strategies to be discovered are shaped canvases, collage and portraiture using a grid. |

| Writing on the Wall; a Personal
Symbol Story - Deb Massa Learn about installation art and how to collaborate with other artists while you explore study and create your personally relevant symbols and incorporate them into a unique form of self-expression. Students will make a sketchbook of drawings and then work together to generate a series of cave paintings that tells an autobiographical story. |
