Thank you to all the wonderful instructors, camp counselors and volunteers who made Summer Art Camp 2008 such a HUGE success!! All twenty-four of our fabulous art camp classes filled this year with 150 students in attendance, ranging in age from 6 to 17 years old.
The students participated in a wide variety of fine art activities such as face jugs in clay, pointillism painting, paper collage, drawing, scrap wood sculpture, felting and digital photography!
Snack breaks were extra tasty thanks to Wendy’s Frostys™ and Food Lion’s fresh fruit and crunchy snacks. Our volunteers made our snack & lunch breaks more fun with face painting, musical performances and games!
We had a wonderful four weeks of Art camp and hope you can join us again next summer!!
